DrDoctor Intro

DrDoctor has 25 staff. We were founded in 2012 and are based in Waterloo, London.

We are one of the UK’s fastest growing healthcare technology companies and are funded through organic growth. We work with 22 world leading NHS Trustsacross the UK including Guy’s and St Thomas’ & Great Ormond Street.

Our team are realists with a sense of duty to those who depend heavily on healthcare services. We are well established and continually pushing the boundaries of healthcare.

We are looking for an experienced and confident account manager to help us ensure we are always delivering the most impactful projects with our NHS partners.

What would I do at DrDoctor?

The client services team ensure that every hospital that uses the DrDoctor Platform gets the most out of it. This means taking an active role in guiding and informing decision making across all levels of a hospital. You could spend the morning working with an administrative team to ensure they are confident using our solutions and the afternoon in the boardroom working with the executive team to better define a digital strategy for the Trust.

Many of our clients choose to work with DrDoctor both as a technology partner and as a transformation partner to help them achieve their ambitions of transitioning to a more digitaly enabled healthcare provider. The role requires a broad range of skills with strong analytic ability and people skills. Clarity of thought and the ability to help others with this is an essential skill and a daily challenge.

Key responsibilities

  • Inspire and lead project teams to deliver great results
  • Assist with professional development of more junior members of the team
  • Designing transformative patient-focused plans to help Trusts use the DrDoctor platform
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to support them with their digital transformation ambitions
  • Liaising with our product team so we’re always building what’s best for the NHS & patients
  • Commissioning work with new hospitals


What are we looking for?


You must:

  • Have an improvement management or change consulting background
  • Have a natural ability to work well with many different character types, building strong relationships and guiding/challenging opinions
  • Be personable and tenacious in equal measure
  • Have exceptional reasoning skills
  • Be able to understand the technical side of what we do and have analytical skills to help investigate this – advanced MS Excel skills preferable
  • Be comfortable with ambiguity, a business moving at speed, and non-stop problem solving, building, and action
  • Be self-starting and ambitious
  • NHS knowledge is a definite benefit, but not essential

Predominantly London based but must be able to travel client sites across the UK (1/2 times per week)


Salary range

£50k – £60k base + profit share
